Jada England earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University in Topeka, her Master of Science in Public Health Nursing from the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, and her Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Rasmussen University in Topeka. She is also a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout her career, Jada has gained experience across several areas of healthcare. She spent 11 years as a post-surgical nurse at Stormont-Vail Health in Topeka, 13 years as a nursing faculty member at Baker University and Rasmussen University, one year as an administrator in psychiatric and medical facilities, and four years as an electronic health record trainer at Stormont Vail Health.
For Jada, education has always been an important part of her work. She believes every learning experience has value and that sharing knowledge through teaching and mentorship helps others build confidence, grow professionally, and strengthen the collaborative relationships that support quality patient care.
Originally born and raised in New Mexico, Jada has lived in Kansas for 32 years, including the last 29 years in Topeka. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, especially to places with a beach, and spending time with her family, including her husband of 33 years, their three grown sons, and three grandchildren.
