Dr. Roland Darey brings over two decades of experience in primary and emergency care to his role at CareArc, where he provides comprehensive family medicine with a focus on procedural care and patient-centered service.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Dr. Darey began his medical journey at the United States Air Force Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and completed his residency at North Colorado Family Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Before joining CareArc in May 2025, Dr. Darey served for 15 years in primary care in Wamego, Kansas, followed by 8 years providing emergency medical care in Junction City and Emporia. His clinical interests include procedural medicine and improving care access for underserved populations.
Dr. Darey is passionate about supporting the overall well-being of his patients—building strong relationships and helping them make informed decisions about their health. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife Bridget, their five children, and growing number of grandchildren. He is an avid hiker, having climbed several of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks, and is actively involved in his church and theological studies.
