Three State Plan Amendments – LHD Public Notice During Public Health Emergency

KDHE/DHCF is preparing three State Plan Amendments (SPAs) that will change the Kansas Medicaid State Plan. A thirty-day public notice is required for each SPA prior to submitting the SPAs to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). KDHE/DHCF requests that the attached LHD Notice .pdf files of the SPAs be posted and/or shared, either by printing or by electronic means, on the public-medium bulletin board sources in all LHD offices. The public notices need to remain available to the public through the last day as listed on all three notices, November 9, 2020. Once the public notice timeframes have expired, please remove all physical and electronic versions of the notices.
