Important Notice: Lyon County WIC Office Closure

Due to the ongoing government shutdown, the Lyon County WIC office will be closed starting on Monday, October 13, until further notice.

To ensure continued support for WIC participants, Lyon County WIC is collaborating with the Johnson County Health Department to assist with New Certifications and Recertifications during this time.

Lyon County WIC staff have been working diligently to issue benefits and schedule appointments for a later date. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this temporary disruption.

We are advising that all WIC participants continue to keep their appointments and use their benefits. Food benefits have not been affected by the government shutdown at this time.
