CareArc is pleased to announce the addition of Tricia Dillingham, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, to its behavioral health team. Dillingham brings with her over 20 years of experience in the social work and mental health fields and will begin seeing patients in May 2025.
Dillingham’s practice focuses on compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs. She offers psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic support for patients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Her approach is grounded in creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
“My mission is to support people through their mental health journey in a way that honors their unique strengths, values, and goals,” Dillingham said. “I’m here to listen, to help, and to work with each patient on a treatment plan that fits their life.”
Dillingham earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas, followed by her RN from Neosho County Community College, a BSN from Fort Hays State University, and her master’s degree as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and holds an APRN license in the state of Kansas.
Prior to joining CareArc, Dillingham worked at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center in Lawrence, Kansas, where she played a key role in opening an inpatient psychiatric treatment and recovery center. She has also served as a psychiatric nurse at KU Medical Center and began her career as a case manager after completing her Peace Corps service in the Dominican Republic.
Though originally from Topeka, Dillingham has personal ties to the Emporia area and is excited to return to a community she visited often during her college years. “Emporia has always felt like a welcoming place,” she said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to join CareArc and support the mental wellness of this region.”
Dillingham joins CareArc’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality care for all, with a special focus on strengthening its behavioral health offerings. To schedule an appointment or learn more, visit www.carearc.org or call 620-342-4864.
