Plenty of adults get through school and into a career without anyone ever raising ADHD. You compensate. You work later than everyone else to finish the same work. You lose things, miss deadlines you cared about, and start projects you don’t finish — and you assume that’s just a personal failing.
This check-in asks about the last six months. It’s based on a screening tool clinicians use, and it takes about three minutes. It won’t diagnose you, and it doesn’t go on any record. It tells you whether what you’re experiencing lines up with adult ADHD, and what to do next if you want to find out for certain.
You’ll see your results as soon as you finish. If it looks like it’s worth looking into, CareArc evaluates and treats adult ADHD right here in Emporia — call 620-342-4864 to get started.
What an evaluation actually involves: more than one visit, usually. A provider will go through your history, including what school and childhood were like, and may ask for records or for input from someone who knew you growing up. It’s not a quick yes or no, and the first visit isn’t a prescription. Treatment depends on what the evaluation finds.
We go by what you can afford. CareArc uses a sliding fee scale based on income and household size. We see patients with private insurance, with Medicaid or KanCare, with Medicare, and with no insurance at all.
Yes, and it’s common — especially for people who did well in school, or whose symptoms showed up as disorganization rather than disruption.
Yes. Your answers aren’t added to your medical record and we won’t share them. If you leave your number at the end, it’s so someone can help you get scheduled.
Depends on income and household size. Bring proof of income and we’ll set your rate. Nobody is turned away because they can’t pay.
No. Call us directly.
Usually more than one appointment. A provider needs to rule out other things that look similar — anxiety, depression, sleep problems, thyroid issues — before landing on ADHD.
Call us at 620-342-4864 and say that when you do. It’s a different conversation than a first evaluation.
